Welcome to Granite Mountain Charter School Testing Resources site!

This is your one-stop resource for everything you need to know about testing!

Our students participate in a variety of assessments throughout the year to demonstrate growth and direct instructional planning. Parents are an integral part of the education team, so thank you for your support and active involvement. We hope this website will provide useful information to empower and support your students towards success!

REMEMBER...

These tests are just one way to assess student learning, but test-taking is an important life skill! Additionally, these assessments give information to show student growth and provide deeper understanding in how to guide instruction. School wide assessment data are an integral part of our Local Indicators that aid in our charter renewal and WASC accreditation. Lastly, this data helps our school make decisions and plan school programs to support you and your students.

Current Assessment Focus...

The Winter STAR 360 window is Jan. 3rd - Jan 14th. Please have your student complete these important assessments within this period. Student participation allows us to help teachers and learning coaches guide each student on his or her unique path to mastery. These assessments provide a baseline to measure growth throughout the year and helps identify any need for intervention.
